I really think the best thing to do is just change the name of our profession so those of us that really want to be a smuggler can finally realize that we aren't EVER going to smuggle. Then all those that a perfectly happy with FP, spices and slicing can have a profession with a name that more closely resembles their abilities. The whole issue gets put to rest for once and for all with minimum effort from SOE...which is what they seem to be wanting to give us anyway.
It's what we have available to us at the moment. I got tired of beating my head against the wall complaining I can't smuggle, so I'm having faith that Wes is looking out for our best interests and some day we will be able to smuggle. My continually posting negatively is doing nothing except giving me an ulcer and a headache.
Two of us referenced FP prices because the original poster talked about how cheap people sell FP for on his server, neither of us posted it to say "well it's ok that we can only slice and sell FP and we are happy with it".
I can understand your position and your frustration, but don't think that people are happy with what is available to us at this point just because we didn't jump on the hate SOE rantwagon. I've ranted enough on the forums, in emails to SOE and to people I know IRL about this for both of us.
