Thread: Does this sound right? Damage Question

I am trying to finish my template (Currently: TKM/ 4443 Smuggler/ 2400 Pistoleer heading to TKM/MSmuggler/4400 Pistols).


Today I was "running" (LOL, took me about 25 minutes per mission) roba runt missions (lvl 80-82) and the damage I was doing seemed really weird. Most of my specials did only a fraction of the damage that Range Shot did. Only Body Shot & Improved Reckless shot did more damage. Unfortunately, I started just using ranged shot and my Combat spam didn't have enough data points, so I experimented with some lvl 14 Kaadus outside my house.


Using a FWG 5 with a modified DPS of 355.58, I did the following damage to the kaadus:


Ranged Shot: 682

Improved Reckless & Body Shot: 954 (140% of Ranged Shot)

Low Blow & Conscussion Shot: 170 (25% of Ranged Shot)

Improved Overwhelming Shot: 135 (20% of Ranged Shot)


Do these modifiers seem correct? Am I doing something wrong or is this just life in the CU?

Yes it sounds about right, the state forcing specials hit for a lot less than the pure damage specials.
