I was looking around for the different rifles and I noticed that you can get the Nakta crystal rifle in the smuggler only quest "art of smuggling"(i think thats the name)
Does anyone know the stats on this rifle?

if u place more info about the quest, i'll check it out

would really be something, a smuggler-only quest...

In beta, the guy was about halfway through the Myystryl (sp?) caves. He's sorta standing by himself on a platform. He won't offer the mission to non-smugglers.

I forget exactly what he says, but he asks you to "smuggle" (and it is in quotes) some rifles from the Imps back to him. I didn't have time to do the quest, since we were on our way to test the Grevious encounter.

Interesting....

Today I went to Kasshyk, and got a smuggling mission from a guy on the third platform in the tree, in the outpost where you land. I haven't done the mission yet, but it involved taking hides to a guy in another system, who would give me something else back to hand over to a guy in yet another system, who would give me ..etc..

Now, I don't know if he only gives it to smugglers, but still... It is the first smuggling mission I have found...

Just found out that the Crystal rifle is no longer in the smuggler quest...but you still have a smuggler quest which nice.

The quest reward was changed to a pistol back in the BETA test.

Oops. You know what? Just forget I posted that last link. It's Friday afternoon, the sun is shining and I'm not drinking yet, I'm just not thinking straight. Sorry guys, didn't mean to lead y'all astray.

The non-clicky link that I posted was to loot a smuggler-only pistol from a named dude in the Dead Forest... and the other thread that I read earlier was talking about this same smuggler-only quest, but didn't know what the pistol reward was... there's a third thread that said what the pistol reward was... Go to the 'Smuggler only RtoW quest reward' thread... it's a pretty DL44 pistol.
