I am a CH with one character for a long time and since a short time Msmuggler with an other character. But to be honest I do not see any atvantage the combination you mentioned. Maybe if you still got exp left to also get Mpistol. But personaly I prefer CH/Mrifle or Msmuggler/TKA.

I was wanting to try that template also but I dont like not being able to heal my own wounds. I thought with the control abilities of smuggler , ch would work out pretty good.

I tried it breifly and it works but there are much better combo's out there, Current CH is a litte hard to play, Pets dont hold aggro properly, they run during battle or dont listen to commands and BE pets are really bugged.

Sending the pets in and then hitting concussion shot works really well but it gets boring after a while and only the bird creatures can keep up with your bike.

90% of the reason i like the CU was that i could respec back to CH. I'm enjoying the hell out of the combo(MS/MCH) I have a little medic to help me heal myself, but thinking of droping it. Its not the best offencive combo out there but very unique I do ok (so far) with just the smuggler pistol skills, I'm hoping they improve the pets to be better but with some time i'm sure i can be as effective as anyone and have a blast doing it. I say give it a shot because with the ability to respec for another week you cant loose.

Before the CU this was part of my template. I was Master Smuggler, Master CH, with some Pistoleer, Scout, and Medic thrown in. I wasn't 'uber' and in PvP I sucked so hard you could hear the turbine-like whine and whooshing noise from across the battlefield. However, in PVE and group situations I was the guy you wanted with you. I had a tank, I could heal, and I could deal a damage fairly well. Not to mention my snappy wit and good humor. Now I have a D-pad full of rares and badarse pets that I can't use again yet. (No, not for sale...lol. I wouldn't sell my beloved pets!) and deal quite a lot of damage as Master Smuggler, Master Commando, with some medic and scout and am almost as versatile, but am having a lot of fun. Yes, I am liking the CU.

It just seemed the smuggler thing to do, to have something big, and hairy, with teeth, to do my bidding. All real smugglers have trained attack dogs that I know of hehe. It makes sense too. You can't bribe your way away from a junkyard dog, or talk your way out of it, or sneak past it.

/me hoists a correlian ale to my four-legged (and 6 and 8 and sometimes 2-legged) friends.
