We corrs really honestly don't know much more than the general community, and when we do, it's often NDA'd. In fact, we're elated when we get some new info we can pass back to the community. It just doesn't happen all that often. I'm not sure how it's supposed to work in theory, but in practice, most of the communication we do is to the devs, writing up bug threads and passing along the sentiments of the community and such. That's way valuable, but it rarely results in new info we can give you all.
Also, speaking personally, part of the reason I became a correspondent is because I really liked my community. Helping where I can is awesome, but I still like messing around with them. I'd hate to think I'd have to give that up just because I've got a blue name.

Maybe its just me, but I am very grateful we have basically two correspondants who are both outspoken enough to represent our needs but at the same time smart enough not to get fired.
Asking them to violate an NDA would just rob us of our sole reliable source of information - even if it is only that there is none to share. And considering the state this forum is in currently, I fear the day we might be forced to elect a new coro.

It's really sad if you think about it.
Tomo and Wes are great at what they do. Unfortunately, the Devs ignore them just about as much as they ignore us. So they might as well kick back with the rest of us and enjoy the one good thing about this game, the Smuggler community.

Not every Jedi... just the asshats. Unfortunately, that seems to be the majority of them.

So Wes, out of curiosity does SOE actually KNOW that we think they suck at communication? I mean has the topic come up in correspondent communication with them or is there as much of that as with us?
How blunt are you when you tell them what we think of them?

Yup, that's pretty much the jist of it.
