Thread: slice says capped for a non damage capped weapon

made a new pistol for myslef and left enough room in damage so that I could damage slice it to cap. When i wen to get it sliced it gave the weapon is already at cap message anyone run into this or have a workaround?

The slicing cap is lower than the crafting cap for some reason.
