I am a MBH / Mcarbineer / 4000 Combat Medic
I have recently bought a decent RIS armor suit I need to get sliced to hunt any and all jedi.
My question to you smugglers is: If credit isn't a factor, how should I get my 6000 resistance RIS suit sliced?

I have... Heard... That "armor breakage" is the slice to go with... Not that I deal in that sort of illegal jedi business! No no no!
/whisper I hear jedi use armor break a lot to screw you out of your armor... It would be a wise decision to get it up to 75% of armor breakage reduction... All the other slices are crap combat wise... Two of them just make it so they take longer to decay (I ran some numbers, and one is actualy clearly superior to the other) while the last one is PURE crap (one out of 33 shots has half damage? Heh, I don't think so!)... If you're on Bria, I could set you up...

Damned thing went into maintainence while I was posting. :?
Anyway, the gist of it:
I sliced a suit of armor a few days ago for a Bounty Hunter, when I told him what exactly I could do to the armor, he said he wanted as much Armor Break protection he could get, as he hunted Jedi and that's one of thier primary state attacks at the moment. So we got all three levels of Armor Break Reduction for a total reduction of 75% and customization of 60%. That left him with three choices to fill his armor out one level of Resilience(lowers minimum effective condition percentage of armor by 10 for each level, 25% Customization), Impact Deflection(chance to ignore 50% of condition loss on armor due to damage), or Hardening(chance to ignore 50% of health loss from an attack).
Basicly put, Resilience means your armor is usefull for a longer period of time, but does nothing to alter how your armor protects you; Impact Deflection protects your armor, but not you; Hardening protects you, but not your armor.
Once I explained to him these other abilities, he decided to get the first levels of Impact Deflection and Hardening, resulting in a fully customized suit of armor.
Afterwards, I told him I hope the armor helps out a lot when taking out the Jedi he hunts. He said that he hopes so, as well.
If you'd like to tryout different combinations or would like very detailed information on what can be done with armor now, you can use SonGouki's Slicing Assistant.
