am I alone thinking that slicing a weapon for 100c per % or 3k-5k per weapon is a little low in price? If i get a 35% damage slice on a 300k weapon I would rather charge 35% of the weaposn value. Am I alone and greedy? I know its impossible to know the price someone payed on the weapon but a few days running around checking vendors gives you a general idea of what people are charging.

This is a much heated debate everywhere. Charge what ya feel your time is worth and what the market can bear. I charge 200/ % on Tempest. A few smugglers there are adopting this as well. I find that it helps if ya do this on Dant as well where people have money more then not.

It's a little low. All Flurry Master Smugglers instituted a price point of 10k per slice, alternatively 5k for 10%-24% slices, 10k for 25-34% slices, and 15k for 35-45% slices. Remember this is a permenent fix to the item that we slice what Master Docs charge for a 2 hour boost to your HAM's

I would love to be able to charge that much for a slice. Not because I am greedy, but because I think its fair. Think of how many powerups you go through in the life of a weapon. At 2k-5k per crate of 10, I knowI can go through5 or more per night of solid grinding (pistol wise). That right there is 10k-25k for powerups. We provide a permanent powerup to speed or damage for 3k-5k. Seems quite unbalanced to me.

A couple things that you should consider when pricing your services - will it cover your time, effort and expenses, and is the customer willing to pay that price. Other than that, it's up to you how you price.

o1% - 16% - 2k

17% - 24% - 4k

25% - 34% - 6k

35% & up - 8k

this is what i use and it works well for me.

for awhile i didn't mind the low cost I charged, but its getting harder and harder to deal with people...I hate everyone now. Would be awsome to have a universal cross server general price guide that all smugglers would agree to start pricing at.

Here is a little more food for thought on this subject. Last night I was browsing the ID forum and there is a simular discussion on what they should charge for stat migration. It was something like 15k up to like 40k,and being as they are the only ones who can migrate your stats as we are the only ones that can slice, we(they) should be able to dictate the price, not the consumer.Ya know like OPEC does.

I play on bria but I'm totally down to start using the flurry pricing. Just wish it would mark on the weapon/armor what stats and % changed on it so i wouldn't always have to tell people. And that in itself is no big deal, unless someone dumps a set of armor and a few weapon on you, plus the 6 people waiting in line.

My god!!! I had no idea they were going to start charging that much for that!!!!!! We seriously need to come to an agreement on price and start sticking to it. Are we going to let Image Designers out organize us?!?

Im a master and im sorry but i would feel bad charging 10k for a 15% slice, but i have no problem with 8k for a slice 35% or better, which is why i use a "buffed up" % scale (see above post). Its fair to the client and its fair to me, i make a lot on money with my pricing system.
