Wups lol, hey i am grinding Smuggler and i have checked the stickies and found nothing, sorry if i am blind.
I am after a guide like what lvls to go up first and how many containers i will need and things such as should i slice containers or terminals, just some information so i can understand the profession as well as grind it, thanks Lighters

Well, unless you happened to have alot of pistol xp I recommend you go up spices first, since that is simply crafting till you drop.
Then Work on pistols by killing humanoids, you should collect enough locked containers to get you at least slicing 1.
After that? Containers are the 'fastest' way, but it's luck of the draw on getting more.

When slicing, use clamps. It TELLS you in the textbox which wires to slice in which order, and you will ALWAYS have a 100% success rate slicing with Clamps. You can't make them, but you can still USE them.

don't use analyzer flow nodes. I seen 3 fail in a row one time when i believed in experimenting them to 90%.

Right XP for slicing - Containers give 250xp for each one. This means you will need 20 containers to get lvl 1 slice.
Terminals give 100xp so this takes sometime (The reason you can only slice a terminal once every 60 secs) so you will still need containers for faster xp.
Weapons and Armour give 250xp doesnt matter what armour or weapon, the fastest way togrind for the final sections of slicing are get creats of CDEF pistols or Knifes lots of clamps and laser knifes which you can make and just sit and grind.
Spices - For lvls 1 through to 3 make Shadowpaw on practice mode, on lvl 4 make Thuster Head gives better xp.

Get some clamps, sit near Coronet or Theed Starport and say you're slicing locked containers for free and the owner keeps the contents. Some kind soul helped me out with about 30 containers one night. I had clamps, so I sliced them all and made Slicing I in about a half hour.
Maybe you'll get lucky and someone will do the same for you.

To grind slicing, you need 60 locked containers, 360 clamps, 300 wuks, and 300 of any weapon (survival knive probably easiest to make).
Open the 60 containers. Now you have slicing2. Slice 300 weapons, now you have slicing4.
To grind spices, grind Shadowpaw 25 organic 5 metal till spices3, then grind thrusterhead.
Then shoot stuff with a pistol until your eyes bleed, and now your a master smuggler.

the folks here gave you wonderful help w/ slice already, for pistol xp get buff, decend armor, novice pistoleer, novice scout, go to Dantoone and hunt quenker, harvest meat (to grind for spice.) work on the tech tree first, by the time you done w/ dirty fighting and fastalk, you should have plenty of resource to grind the spice.
