Hello Guys,

I am master armorsmith and a new smuggler, and playing around w/ the template for awhile now and got really confuse, may be you guys can help me out. To accompany w/ smuggler, I was thinking of TA 4040, w/ meditate, i'll be able to heal myself and TKA is quite powerful. However, with tka, it won't give any benefit to the smuggler class at all, then I tried pistoleer. Really love the stance tree for pistol whip but I had a question regarding the tech and skill tree. For the skill tree, it's increase the accuracy of the pistol, and for tech, it's just give us for tech shot. The question is that should I focus more on the skill tree? Why 9 out of 10 people recommend tech over skill? between TKA and pistoleer, which will fit a roleplayers who like to solo a lot, and don't like the idea of begging people to heal my wounds? really love the smuggler prof, looking forward for the revamp thank you all great smuggler from this forum for help. For Solo TK is the Way to go, the meditation line will save you SO much trouble, although without mele mitigation you are going to take a beating.Pistoleer on the other hand is also a decent profession for PvE. Techs is the best tree because you will get fanshot. Stopping shot does more damage, but without the speed modifiers from Master Pistoleer fanshot will be your shot of choice. If you decide to go pistoleer, my suggestion would be to go 0044 pistoleer, so you would get the specials, and you will get Pistol Mele Defence, and ranged mitigation.
