I want to unlock my extra slot and use it to make a crafting character (yeah, crafting ships- hyuk, hyuk, hyuk- /dragfootacrosstheground)

Anyway,

I was wondering if anyone knew or could guess if I created a character on another server and leveled him would I be able to transfer him to the newly opened slot.

Character transfer does not work.

Everytime a Rollback or Additional server thread is spawned SOE murders a kitten. Please... think of the kittens and stop this erradication.

I thought it was going to be free to transfer within your account but cost to transfer from on account to another. Everything I read about it from SOE's end seemed to state that but all of the post in the forums lean towards one having to pay to transfer at all.

Maybe SOE realized they COULD charge for this service and that is why you haven't seen or heard anything from their end on it since.

It was supposed to be part of Pub 9, right?
