OK this is the Buyer coming out of me now. I am working through smuggler and from reading all the posts on these boards one thing that stands out is how many times we have to go over the "Do you understand how slicing works..its completely random..etc etc" speil to customers who then deny we said anything to them when i doesnt go their way.
So, would someonelike to volunteer to set out a set of T&Cs that we can mail to the customer..... ie
1. Please note all slices are random, I have no control over the outcome
2. Slicing can produce the following results at these levels ...... % @ master % @ lvl 4 etc
3. Tool quality has no effect
4. my prices are.......
5. if you refuse to pay your items will be held till payment or placed on the bazaar
6. spices work like this......
etc etc
you get the idea....... I just thisnk it would save us so much time and headaches when they go screaming that we have scammed them and it beats typing it out everytime.
Any comments or volunteers ?

Other Players are insolent. Especially when they turn down a 5k slice that can increase the value of their weapon by 50k fold.
Dont waste your time. Their Loss, Your Time.

About slicing:

1] Weapons can be sliced for either Speed or Damage -but the smuggler cannot chose which.
2] Armor can be sliced for either Effectiveness or Encumbrance -but the smuggler cannot chose which.
2-a] PSG can be sliced, but may get an encumbrance slice which on a PSG - does nothing. -The Smuggler has no control over which slice you get.
3] TheONLY. thing which influences the level of a slice is the skill level of the slicer.
3-a] A Master smugglerDOES. get a bonus on slice results.
3-b] While a Master smuggler can get a higher slice result (in percentage change to the item),NO SMUGGLER (not even a master) can chose the slice TYPE.
3-c] Quality of slicing tools and upgrade kitsDOES NOT. matter has HAS NO EFFECT ON THE SLICE RESULT.
4] Trading your item to the smuggler implies accepting his pricing. Know the price of the slice before you trade!. If you refuse to pay after the slice is done, you are a refusing to pay for a service which has been delivered ... and the smuggler may decide to keep the item pending payment.

I think it is much more fun just to put their item up for sale on the bazaar and watch them whine lol as long as they don't get toostupid and start spamming some stupid n00b stuff

Have you read the Terms & Conditions for SWG? I think I have made my point.
If you have read them, then do you think that the n00bs that are insisting on not paying have read them? Now I have definately made my point.
And just to make it clear, my point is that they will just say that they read the terms as opposed to actually reading them.

Bah, I just tell them straight up what my prices and that if they trade all sales are final.
On the occurence of getting a slice they didn't want, I tell them to look it up, because we can't determine what they'll get. I haven't ran into a fanatic yet though, so we'll see if my opinion changes...
