Hiya all,
I've reactivated my account after taking a extended break, I was wondering what people are currently charging per slice these days, was 1k per % last time I did a slice.
So much as changed since I last played, just hoping the smuggler does a bit of smuggling now
Thanks in advance for any info

Well welcome back!!
And i think you mean 100cr per % was the old rate. 1k per % is still just a dream of mine.
The prices are all over the place now. Some do flat rates from 4k per slice to 10k per slice. (I do 5k per slice) Others give a range, like 3k for anything under a certain %, 5k for the ave %, and 15k for those omg! %'s.
But one thing we all agree on. Charge whatever you want.
Oh and there are still some knuckleheads charging 100cr per %, but I have contracts out on most of them.

When'd you retire? I quit in November and just came back today, too, and while most pistols on Starsider weren't dramatically different (the FWG5s were practically identical), a couple were nice enough I upgraded. The biggest change looks to be these "geo blasters" and their "stun damage." I dunno, something about firing a wave of disturbed air strikes me as namby-pamby, but I guess some people care more about doing well than looking cool.
Now that I think about it, it seemed like most pistols were higher on damage but slower in speed, which I suppose is better for maxed characters and worse for the medium and low guys.
Also I didn't see one damn DX2, the Little Armor Piercing Pistol That Could. Time to go refill my Sunburn glass with tears.

Hi Tomo
I retired just before player cities and mounts where introduced.
I owned a couple of dx2 but the armour damage was bugged before I retired so mainly stuck to the fwg5, not seen the geo blasters but they sound pretty cool.

Freaky...we left about the same time, we're interested in the same Profession and look...we registered on the same day!

We're still boned beyond absolute belief, if that's what you're wondering. By the way, welcome back.

My head nearly exploded when I learned spices are actually selling worse than they were last year. Such things defy the natural order.
I stopped right before mounts/cities, too, but my first time on a swoop made me wish I'd stuck around another week or two.

FWG 5's cant be made with krayt's anymore or multiple loot enhancers. So they're pretty much capped in teh 170-max damage range. No more 200+ FWG5's. They're still good for their heat damage though.
Armor piercing is fixed, so DX2's and Republic Blasters are the kings for Pistoleers. Geo's are a nice high damage Stun weapon for use against unarmored opponents (and PvPer's without stun enhanced armor).
New DE-10's are incredible, but muy 'spensive and also energy like the Republic blaster.
slice prices are all over the place...i think more people these days are moving from the xxx credits per % point to a flat rate or a flat variable rate over the range of the slice. 4k - 10k..somewhere in there.
sad about the FWGs ive got a couple pre nerf ones i keep for a rainy day 94-320 damage
