Its relaly frustrateing to make many crates of knives and then realize the reason you been going thorugh crates of them isnt becasue of slicing. waste of time and moneys......
Still bugged. First one works fine, but after the first 10 uses it goes to 1 stack/use. Personally, I dont see why this is even an issue. No one else gets to use stuff while they're still in the crate, I dont see why we get to either. Medics cant use stims in a crate, fighters cant use powerups in crates, no one can eat or drink from crates. I dont get why Smugglers think they're special.

Resources to make equipment or spices should I run out. That's it. House is empty, bank is less than half full. Believe me, in comparison to the needs of a doctor, we have it easy.

Well perhaps that is because when you eat foor or get buffs someone isnt handing you 20 different peices of equipment at once. lets see someone wants me to slice 2 sets of armor for them and a few guns. what is a smuggler supposed to do. "Um well trade me 1 piece at a time" Doctors dont get items when they buff people, chefs dont have to get inv taken up to sell foods yet we have to keep a empty inv all the time just so we can slice more then 3 items at a time?
Dont think we think we are Special. just realistic. Perhaps if you were not comparing Apples and Oranges you might have a clue.
I can see it now. OK give me 1 peice *slice* ok here trade this, ok hand me another peice *slice* ok trade, Ok hand me another piece...... and so on. get the idea??!?!

Yup, from all reports the first on works fine, then all others it goes back to 1 charge a knife if autopulled.
However, you might notice in one of the sticky threads I have... that they are going to remove auto-pull from all slicing crates...
this is just going to suck Bantha, I mean it can be a pain to slice as it is if you have no place to store gear but now we have to keep lots of Inv slots open or do 1 at a time slicing. well I can tell you this Slicing prices will be going up then since its going to take someone 20 -25 mins to slice aset ortwo ofarmor. when you add lag,Tradewindow bugs. and when i have to sit there for 2 misn between each slice to explain to a newbie why and how he trades guns. its not even going to be worth it.

Hey, I have a Doc/Crafter, I have several fighters (including a BH), and I have a Smuggler. By far, the only one that has EVER (in over a year of playing this game) come close to running out of room for anything was the Doc. She carries somewhere in the vicinity of 30 crates on her at all times (between one of each buff, cures for poison/disease/intimidate/blind, brandy, canape, bivoli, various combat foods, weapon powerups, and medical subcomponents), plus one of each item from most of the crates (except the subcomponents, but oftenmultiples from the weapon powerups). And I just dumped off almost 30 different stacks of various organics to our guild's Chef. Plus, full composite, and a change of BE enhanced clothing and multiple weapons. Her house is filled to the brim with WS components and resources, and her bank is filled with more resources, loot, and other sundry items.
In comparison, my Smuggler carries 5 crates of Knives,2 crates of WUKs, 2 crates of AUKs, 5 crates of clamps, a crate of spice, a crate of brandy, some crates of powerups, and various combat foods. 3-5 weapons, a suit of armour and a change of clothes. Resources to make equipment or spices should I run out. That's it. House is empty, bank is less than half full. Believe me, in comparison to the needs of a doctor, we have it easy. How many named resources do we need? 0. How many crates of subcomponents do we use in our crafting? 0 How many different types of resources do we need? 6-10, I think, mainly from the spice tree. I went up most of the Slicing tree without even knowing about using clamps from a crate, so I'd remove several during a slicing storm. I used crates of weapons from a WS when grinding up the slicing tree (usually pulling 5 or 10 from a crate at a time, and deleting them as I sliced them), and made my own Flow Analysers/WUKs by hand as I needed them (I ground up to NoviceWS just to cut down on costs). Around the time I reached the end of Slicing III, I found out about using WUKs/AUKs/Clamps from a crate.
Believe me, it's not as difficult as you make it out to be.
Yes I have a Doc/CM hows that for a Inv Nightmare. Yes i made it through slicing at the start with making as it came too. So what?!?!
I have houses full of clamps knives and Auk/Wuk I have a bag filled with these things 20 total things combined. I will go through that whole bag in a night sometimes when slicing for 2-5 people. thats 200+ clamps Auk's and WuKs not even to mention the knives. You are obviously not doing any bulk slicines or you woudl see the issue here. when was the last time someone came up to you at a city you dont belong to the bank in and asked you slice 3 sets of armor. happens about once a week at the least for me. 3X9 =27 spots before we even talk about the kits, knives and clamps. then there is the having to click one out each time. If i had Clamps in a stack and AuK's in a stack like DOCTORS have buffs in a stack and Everything else they get in a stack it wouldnt be such a issue. Im sorry you got a empty bank and house. I have a full bank and 3 full houses of equipment and gear. Not everyone jsut slices here and there. some of us slice alot of gear at one time and this causes great issues. how would you feel if your buffs came out in a stack of 1 and each time you buffed someone you had to click out a fresh set up 6 new buffs. or if when you needed to cure disease you had to plan on having 15 of them out ahead of tiem to be albe to use them. The only thing we get in stacks in the knives. Doctors have everything in stacks.

Aww, poor bunny. I'm sorry that you had an awful hard time managing your doctor's buffpacks! But from the looks of this inventory, you just don't do much slicing, do you? Try slicing 5-10suits of armor at a time and then come back and tell us what you've learned, m'kay?
This may not come across as that big an issue for dabblers. But for those slicers that do bulk orders or do business with players who demand the best, this is a significant issue. Particularly when there's NO REASON to mess with it! The devs already went to the trouble to codein autpulling the first time, why are they wasting development $$s undoing it now??

First off, I've already conceded that I've never had to do a single slicing run greater than 10 weapons, and how much of an inconvenience this can be (as all the parts were hand crafted just prior to starting the slicing, 32 inventory slots just to slice those 10 weapons). Second, they (the Devs) have already conceded that this was a bug that was introduced, and that they're taking care of it (lost somewhere in the Stratics chat, I don't have the link on me).
