Because Test Center runs a newer version of the code than all the other servers do, you cannot use your normal SWG client to log in. If you are interested in participating on the Test Center server, here's what you need to do:

Start the Launchpad as normal.
After logging in, click on the Test Center button on the bottom of the Launchpad. This will install a second version of Star Wars Galaxies on your computer with special code.
Use the Star Wars Galaxies Test icon to play on Test Center.

The above's straight from this page on the main SWG site. Thought I'd post a little something about getting onto TC. Note: you'll need enough space on your hard disc for another installation of SWG in order to get onto TC, so be sure to check you have the space handy.

and they haven't mentioned when the old TC "snapshot" will be taken so all the TC regulars are sitting on our hands wondering what to do with ourselfse before the coming temporary apocolypse.

as for loading the tc client i would strongly suggest anyone who hasn't used TC or any temporary TC (frog server) lately follow the advice here otherwise you'll be downloading *everything*

If you want to speed the patch download up, copy/paste all your .tre files from your regular SWG folder into the SWGTest Folder. This will mean that when you load up SWGTest for the first time, it will only download the latest patch that isnt on live yet as apposed to all the patchs.

one thing i am realy hping they let us test and test hard is the moving of points around. Tripple masters and others will no longer have the points for their current templtes and wil need to change what trees they have so before this goes live I want to see in detail how it works

It's not going to be hitting the live servers for a few weeks now.
