Thread: Bug and a warning about buying and selling faction points

I just tried to buy faction points from Captain Heff in the Theed Palace. I decided to go here because I saw the other day that he sells faction points and it's a little more private than standing near the starport and going Special Forces (basically, I'm tired of attempted gankings when delegating faction). At any rate, he took my money...all 160K of it but when I tried to /del the faction, it said I didn't have enough. I checked and sure enough, my faction points hadn't gone up but he damn sure took the money out of my account. I'm not sure if this has been discussed before but it's new to me and maybe deserves to be brought up again to prevent new people from making the same mistake.

this happened to me last week, but I guess I was lagging. eventually the points came up about a minute later.

Well, I checked a few times a few minutes after it happened, so it'd have to be a hell of a lot of lag. I'll check again when I log back in but I'm not holding out hope for my points being there, or a CSR responding positively to my ticket.
