Thread: I can't train until I use my respec?

It would appear as though I am not allowed to use my 900k exp for carbines and pistols. The only reason I can think of is because it wants me to respec first. I am returning from a year ago. If I respec will I keep that experience and be able to use it still? I really would be grumpy if I lost all that exp so does anyone remember if they kept their current experience after they respecced?

Yes a year IS a long time. I completely forgot that you need another player to train you in this game. It was lucky it dawned on me because I don't think anyone was even acknolwdging my post was a genuine question. Hehe okay nevermind me.

As far as I've seen you won't loose any exp in a respec. It simply lets you get skill point credit for giving up skill boxes and then chosing new ones. It does'nt have anything to do with aquired exp.

Respec doesn't touch banked XP, it only moves around skill boxes. However, if say you respec out of Carbines, into something else, then get Carbine xp.. you'll *lose* whatever xp you had banked over your current cap.
If i were you i'd play the game a few days at least to get to see the changes, than if you don't enjoy your current character, try respec. You don't HAVE to respec at all.

Thx guys. I guess I will wait until I can actually play the game--when I am not on 56k in a couple months. I am anxious to play again tho )=
