Each spice has a time duration
and affects one or more of your HAM bars

When you read across, the numbers correspond to the following line:

Gunjack / 15:00 / 10% / 10% / -20% / 20%
Muon Gold / 15:00 / 20% / 20% / -20% / 20%
Neutron Pixie / 15:00 / 20% / 20% / 20% / -20%
Pyrepenol / 10:00 / 20% / 10% / na / -10%
Scramjet / 5:00 / na / 20% / -5% / -5%
Sedative H4b / 10:00 / na / 20% / -10% / 10%

The downer for all spices lasts for 30 secs and -20% on all 4 HAM attributes.

Spice buffs work like other buffs in that you will see their icons next to any other buff icons under your HAM bars. Their timers also pause when you log out and resume when you log back in (note: you are logged in the moment you enter your server, not after the game has finished the load in screen).
