Thread: New smuggler/merchant guild on starsider!

We are in the priliminary stages at the momen, I don't want to get a guild hall set until I know its going to start well! I already have a couple of dedicated IRL friends who will join in the next few weeks but we are looking for more! The guild name is top secret at the moment, as I don't want another guild nicking it (yes its THAT good!).
We are acovert smuggling gang under the guise of a genuine business, we need smugglers and plenty of crafters/merchants. Titles will be available to the more dedicated members in their class. Ie. if your a shipwright, and you donate a consistant profit to the guild and are a good RPer and member in general, you will be the offical shipwright for the guild. Combat classes are also welcome of course, as we all need a little muscle! 
The future of the guild is already planned, provided we get the members. We will have an official flagship (your leader's YT-1300 - yet to be obtained) As well as a luxury yatcht for the purpose of gaining custom and bribing government officials so that we may stay in business.
We will be an RPing guild mainly, but all are welcome. Sponsers/members must have the following criteria:
1. You must be of neutral faction in the GCW.
2.You must be at LEAST novice smuggler, Your other skills are your business.
3.No Jedi (this is RP after all, it just wouldn't make sense).
If you fit with this criteria, and your happy with a guild leader that is pretty uncompromising on Star Wars canon then this guild is for you!

We started up a smuggler city recently. A number of our fair citizens are recent converts to the wonder that is Starsider, so some of them may be interested in your guild.

The commandos are starting a commando guild on Starsider. I'm joining them or I'ld definitely talk to you about this. However, it still may behoove you to associate yourselves with us. Alot of us lean more toward the merc side of things then the factionally aligned. You may find good "business" partners in us

Both of you dudes should talk to Keck about maybe joining our town. Dunno how far your plans have gone or whether he'd see the merit in it, but consolidating our endeavors seems like a potentially good idea to me. Worth discussing anyway

Yes, you should both HQ your guilds in the fantastical secret smuggler city.
It would give you a sweet place to live, and two guilds would probably put us right up to where we need to be for a shuttle

Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to see if I can work out a good RP for it to be there. It doesn't make alot of sense at first glance to have a 'smuggler's hideout' slap bang in the middle of a city.

WHich is exactly why we would put it there.
