I did all my slicing grind using molecular clamps and i can quite honestly say i have never used a analyser mode thingie.
Whats the point when you can get a crate of molecular clamps cheap enough from a vendor.

Aye, but I remember back in the day when some smugglers on my old server (Naritus) marked up the prices of the Molecular Clamps since they were going around and buying all the high OQ metals and saying that it affected the outcome of the slice and what not. Man, people taking advantage of other people.....those were the days, wait, thats still going on....no I won't sell you my BARC speeder for 1.5 million credits, what do you mean your flipping them for 8-5 million....this is utter crap......

Hey! Here's some speculation...
What if slicing percentages suck now because the quality of resources to make clamps DOES matter now, but we all got used to buying crappy copper to make clamps with..........
