Ok, I left the game for a few months (got burnt out) and decided to come back. I've been a swordsman since a month or so after launch, and I love this profession to death, and I need some help catching up on all the changes. Last thing I remember the sycthes had just gone live... And I've read up on those, but I still have a few more questions. So if you nice people could answer them, or link me to some reading material, I would be very appreciative.
1. Defenses limited to 125?
2. Arklay Bones?
3. Genosian cave?
4. I've still got some old tatooine sunburn left over, I think thats gone out of style... Whats the new mind food, and how much is it running these days?
I'll try to do as much reading as I can to catch up, but if any of the oldschool swordsman can fill me in on major changes/nerfs etc... (**edit** did they do to my bleeds & warcry? *sniff*) hehe... anywho, I don't want to whine, I want to be a competative swordsman again! Blip rides again!

1) yes dodge/counter/block/ ranged and melee def capped at +125 to stop the days when someone would have +200 dodge and could not be hit....ect. ect. ect.
3) gotta do it first!! Geo cave. On yavin, a non-instanced cave filled with KSers. Place has alot of good loot. and great xp. The boss is the Acklay. in the back of the cave. It is from Episode 2 the thing with 8 legs and a long nech that obi wan had to fight in the arena I believe....
2) Acklay bones.....loot from the acklay used for Power Hammers and scyhtes avg bones sell for 750k or so MAX bones sell for 20-30 mil at times. min bones sell for a few hundred. My Ph made with 176 (650 is MAX, but VERY rare) [100-135 is avg] after slcing is 728 max damage (bad damage slice, like 13%)
One well equipped Master Swordsman or TKM can solo the entire cave. On Swordsman stacker can solo the enitre cave at one time.
the place runs rampant with KS'ers looking for loot.
Also of not You can also loot Geo cubes off of The NPCs, and geo sword cores and solidifiers. these three things are used in making special Scythes. seen some with unsliced daamge of 390 or more. talk to your Weaponsmith about what he needs for the best weapon.
4) Vaserian Brandy (+415 to mind/focus/willpower for @40-45 minutes.) take 2 at one time and canape (+700 to focus/willpower for 10-12 minutes) can stack 3 or stack two and a synthsteak or your choice of other +33 filling or less foods. for your preffered combonation.

Acklay Bones cannot be used in Scythes.

awesome, that answers the questions I have... now this stacking thing intrigues me.. as well as those mad mad powerhammers. Can anyone give me the lowdown on stacking? is this buffs + skill tapes? If anybody has any quick info, or can link me to a good thread with some hard numbers, I should be able to take it from there. I've lost all my notes on calculating speed, acc.. etc... =(

Acklay Bones cannot be used in Scythes.
You are absolutelyright TY for catching my boo boo. I meant to say stun batons

Been gone for a week of training and haven't had time to watch the forums as closely as I usually do. So.... did I miss anything good?

Well, some snakes got loose in the forum and we had to hunt them down with clubs. Then the old mill caught fire, so we had to form a bucket brigade to put it out. On Thursday, someone spiked all the beer with fluoride, so we got real drunk but we've got perfect teeth now. There was a hang-glider incident on Saturday that we all agreed to never talk about again, and then it was Monday.
But Slicing is still bugged, we can't smuggle and resources still don't matter, so no. You didn't miss anything.

And you can't forget about the night we covered the bothan in Cooking Oil and made him carry a can of Petrochemical Fuel over an open fire.
