Okay imperial faction selling seems to be on the up on my server. I've had more tells for selling faction than I have to slice equipment
I've had about 5 serious requests for either faction or faction bases in the last couple of days which I'm very happy about, epsicaly the base as the customer insisted on giving me a 750k tip on top of my asking price because I drooped everything I was doing to search for someone I could trust to delegate the faction to and hand the base to him within the hour.I need to find someone else ashe was only a private in the imperial army and could not hold enough faction.
Now I've also had about 10 other tells asking for faction but I haven't taken seriously. These have gone along the lines of....
Them: Do you sell faction and how muchfor?
Me: 125 per fp and I can get as much as you like.
Them: What that's a rip off can't you help an fellow imperial out?
Me: Well it costs me 95 to buy the faction so I like to make a profit.
Them: Silence........
I have had one persona that asked me for a discount for a purchase of 30k of faction at 100 fp. I worked out I could get more selling 10k at 125 but not to lose a customer I countered with 115 per fp and again I was returned with silence.
Now I think my price is very reasonable and I'm sure Icould charge more if I wanted. I don't know many Imperial smugglers on my server that can sell at my prices on my server. I know rebel faction seems to sell for less becuase of lack of the equivenlent AT-ST but come one. When will people stop undervaluing us smugglers

I'm currently working my way to Colonel, to sell FP. I plan on selling FP ground through missions, not boughten with a the Smuggler profession, it would be so more efficient!

You'd make more profit that way, but whether it would actually be more cost efficient.... The price you put on your time is up to you. But running missions to get fp takesa very long time. Add in the price of armor and weapon decay and it might not be asefficient as you think. It's more a time saving thing. But more power to ya if you are gonna do the missions.

I can one-shot people in the 1k-paying missions with headshot3 easily, and get 67 FP in total per mission. I can make a lot, if I don't die from bordom! I just need the motivation to continue my path now! Currently Warrant Officer II. I wonder how many more ranks I have to go.

yaya jeff! I thought you lef this forum behind you thinking of dropping fencer swordsman and come back to us. I know you want to
I suppilement my faction with a bit of grinding and rebel killing but atm PvE bores me to death. People wanting faction usualy go to a smuggler first as they have heard that smugglers can buy off the recruiter. If your grinding fp I tend to find a quite PC city with two or three rebel bases and use fan shot on the NPCs you can get a lot of faction this way in the space of a buff about 5k. Mission I do less well at maybe 4k for a buff usualy becuase I get bored. I find missions very boring and only doing them if I'm really really strapped for cash. I haven't run amission in two weeks now I hope you can make it work for you. When you get colonel advertise in your trade forums for your galaxy you can usualy get a good response.

you should find a human master smuggler colonel to buy the bases and whatnot from. you'll double your profit. additional 25% discount on purchases man. I currently have a vendor that sells storm trooper armor.. it does fairly well. i just now placed it in a high traffic tent, have sold 4 suits in 2 days.

Your price seems perfectly reasonable to me. I remember when the crackdown started I saw people selling them for around 175 cpu so 125 is quite a bargan.
It would still be really nice if they let us buy more at once, but o well... I'll still keep my fingers crossed on that one

I think the reason people balk at the price of faction is because they don't understand how much it costs tobuy it from the recruiter. I charge 110 credits/point for Rebel faction, 100 credits/point for orders over 20k (which is the lowest price on the server) and I still get people complaining about the price.
For Rebels it costs 85.5 credits/point. So I think a profit of 14.5-24.5 credits/point isn't unreasonable. I mean, I'm not asking for make a fortune overnight, just something that's competitive with grinding janta missions, esp. when you take it consideration the time setting up the appointment and travel time. I takes me less thananhour todelegate the 46,000 faction points for full promotion from private rank to colonel, but it generally takes me 90 minutes net-time, when you add in the meeting time.

That's true but out of the two master smugglers in my guild one dropped the other day before I could get the base and the second is a bothan.
I kinda pormised the customer that I would get the base before I went to bed (this was 4 o'clock in the morning.) I spent about 30minutes running around looking for a imperial human master smuggler in bestine, coronet and firends list. The only guy I could find was drunk and wanting 1 million for his time which is fair enough but the profit in for me would have been terrible, I fact would have cost me more to buy then the price I quoted. You got to remember sods law, when you don't need a certain character there will be hundreads of them around. AS soon as you need one then you'll have to go through hell to get one. I ended up delegating to a guild member and gave her a share of the profits.
My guild has a new master smuggler in the making (he should have grinded it by sunday) Then I plan to sell bases and ST armor on my vendor.

I dont know if I am going to sell faction or not but dangit I just want to be a colonel. So I am going to buy my way to Colonel and if maybe guild members want something I will get them the faction, but as a Twi'lek I won't be much use to another smuggler to buy things. But wouldn't mind getting the faction to transfer to one if they needed it.
I do feel sorry for whoever helps me get to Colonel though...going from master sgt to colonel will take a long time of delegating faction.
Oh and is the name Kenney or Ender I should send the email too? LOL

I've always sold at 130 cred per FP, when they needed it bad they dish out the cred, I can make good money charging 5k a slice, so FP selling I charge 130 to make it worth while, it cost US THE SMUGGLERS time as well:-) Time... my precious...
