nopes these cant be opened
the mechanism is always broken for me
even a pile of loose debris was locked yesterday im like huh? debris locked

I heard they were on a timer. Only able to be opened once every few hours to prevent camping. Not sure how true that is.

in some places like fort tusken you need the rebel corvette ticket gethering mission to open the locked containers... had dudes follwoing me for 15 minutes asking me to slice it the other day...

Yes, the containers are on a 2 hour window, but no one knows what that timer window is.
It could reset at the moment someone opens the container, and chooses another random 2 hour window when they're open, or it could always be the same 2 hour window when they're open, and no one has bothered to find out exactly when it is.
I'm not sure if these containers have anything in them worth having, which would explain the reason people haven't taken the time to figure it out.

Yes they are on a timer and the stuff inside seems to be just as random as locked containers.

Yeah, I've come back to a container after its reset. It would be nice but they are unfortunately unsliceable. I had locked debris too

Good info. Im use to another game where the chest in caves and what not have the best loot possible in them. I guess I really need to change my mind set. Thanks

ok, i meant looted locked containers not magsealed containers. Mucho locked containers drops in tusken fort
