Just curious as to why people do not want me to slice their weapons if Im not a "Master Smuggler" Master smugglers get no extra slicing bonuses so therefore arent any better than a smuggler with slicing IV. If you look on the skill tree and click the Master smuggler at the top of the skill tree(Before you master of course) it does NOT list any bonus to slicing at all. So it is safe to guess that a MASTER has no advantage over a smuggler with just slicing IV. I could be wrong but I dont think I am.

yip your wrong devs have stated that Master Smugglers do get a bonus on slicing!

I do not know why it is not stated in skill tree tho

Basically a Master gets 5% over a slice IV

Slicing IV

Weapons:

Speed - 10-30%

Damage - 10-30%

Armor:

Encumbrance - 15-40%

Effectiveness - 5-30%

Master Smuggler

Weapons:

Speed -15-35%

Damage - 15-35%

Armor:

Encumbrance - 20-45%

Effectiveness - 11-35%

See the difference? You get a 5% boost on the minimum and the maximum ends with Master Smuggler.

There are missions in which you "deliver an item while hostiles attack you" in every profession. I still don't consider [Smuggler's Alliance] pilots to be Smugglers, nor 'Smuggling' - at least not any more than Rebel Pilots or Imperial Pilots might sometimes "smuggle", with a lower-case s - JFreeman - 10/6/04
