Mission terminal, NPC missions and *fingers crossed* player missions (smuggling tef'd and/or wanted jedi for example) should be more then enough trouble for us to get into with respect to BH's. The Dev's will need to put some time into developing worth wild missions/quests for us, we can only hope. With that said I feel Underworld should be modeled on the way Invertigation for BH's is set up. Please check out my ideas on Underworld and feel free to add to it. Remember that any ideas need to be balanced and fair to other professions.
Underworld Tree Idea
Underworld should be where smuggler terminal mission/quest xpgoes and that skill tree should be used for things like:
skill 1 - /mask group tef (tef only not overt stat and only protectionfrom NPC attacks)
skill 2 - /mask from seeker droids (only works for said smuggler)
skill 3 - /mask jedi (only workswhen grouped with ajedi and for 1/2 hr only)
skill 4 - /slice Jedi names off the Bounty Hunter Terminals (but have a chance of it fail and if it does said smugglers name goes on the BH terms)
Keep what underworld has now and justadd the new stuff, underworld should be the counter to the Investigation tree.
If you fail or steal the content of your quest or mission enough times you go onto the BH boards. If you dont fail your mission or steal it from the crime lord who trusted you with it, then your not going to be hunted by a BH, this gives the people who dont want to be hunted more options. Also removing jedi names from the terminals should be only aloud as one player name per server day and very, veryhigh risk. The people who realy want to be hunted can take the chance and do this for jedi's.

that would be good as well, we just have to remember to not be like the devs and forget out master box

I also really liked the idea that has been mentioned before of being able to have an npc thug 'vendor' as part of the Underworld tree.
Someone that you can drop in an alley somewhere and will sell your spice for you, or have people drop their stuff on it to be sliced by you later (I know there are many issues here about how they then pick it up after you slice it, but play along
)
You could then move the 'vendor' from town to town or planet to planet so it's not like the situation you have now of static, advertised vendors full of 'illegal' product.
I think that this might be a great addition to the Master box - if you have a croney who's handling all the stuff, then it might take the heat off the Smuggler behind the scenes and be a way of avoiding the Bounty Hunters.
Just a thought...

As much as I like this idea I can see DocSavage and the rest of the folks on the merchent forums rasing a stink over it

Heh, I realise that I'm probably being dense and fully expect a smack round the head, but why?...

It's a vendor, any type of vendor given outside the business tree/marchent profession I would expect merchents to be unhappy about. This is because it technally infringes on their niche

It's a great idea but in terms of continuity (using underworld as a counter to Investigation) and not cutting in of the Merch profession it may not fly. With the resent Merch changes they my be trying to cut down on the number of vendors server wide so giving us one would not help that issue.

Oh ya I agree, the stuff in underworld now needs to stay, these additional skills would simply (in my mind) make underworld a truly useful skill for all smugglers, a place for terminal mission and NPC quest xp to goand help in adding ourmuch needed content.

And this would change the devs desicion on screwing with another profession to one happy how? Example: Chef Food > Spice...New doctor buffs > Liik spice
Now, I'm not saying that lets screw with them directly but I have a feeling that whatever we get in some form of revamp, somebody isn't going to be happy.
