Triple Master (Master Pistoleer/Master Smuggler/Teras Kasi Master) PvP Guide:

The triple master template is often over-looked as an effective PvP template. In reality, it's one of the most effective templates you can use, save for defense stacking templates. This guide is designed to show you how to use your triple master template to the fullest of its potential. With that being said, here goes...

The remaining 3 Skill Points:

After finishing your triple master, you will have 3 skill points left over. Unless you are Force Sensitive, put them into Marksman Ranged Defense 1. This will give you an extra +2 in ranged defense. If you are Force Sensitive, put the remaining 3 skill points into FS Ranged Defense or FS Ranged Speed (The Ranged Defense is better, but you might want to go with FS Ranged Speed if you do not have enough pistol speed tapes to cap out your pistol speed).

You WILL need skill tapes:

You will need a minimum of +20 in pistol speed attachments to be totally effective, unless you are FS speed enhanced. Accuracy tapes also help greatly.

Weapons:

You will need a decent Vibroknuckler (+180 damage), a geonosian blaster (+250 damage), and a DX2 with good accuracy mods (+180 damage).

Starting out in combat:

Always start out unarmed (Teras Kasi). It gives better defense than pistols. When you enter a fight, make sure you are using center of being. Use Intimidate until it sticks. Go for KD/Dizzy and immediately hit your opponent with a few Unarmed Hit 3's. This (usually) will cause a blind state and can cause bleeding as well. Keep applying intimidate throughout the fight. If you are not doing much damage to them with Teras Kasi, put a dizzy state on them, then switch to Pistols. Always be sure to dizzy (and kd, if possible)your opponent before switching from TK to pistols.

When you switch to pistols, be sure to keep applying the intimidate from time to time. You can intimidate with a pistol equipped. With your pistol equipped, your opponent should still be dizzy and/or kd. Use healthshot 1 and 2, then keep using last ditch. Last Ditch will apply a stun state. Remember to keep applying intimidate as well. You will want to use your geonosian blaster first, as most armor has weaker resistances to it. If the geo isn't damaging them, then try the DX2. Use lowblow for people who try to run away or try to kite you (if you want to go back to TK). Once they are kd, use panic shot, then hit peace.

The trick to the triple master is to keep switching things up. Most opponents will be killed within the first minute. If they're not, then it will probably require some work on your part. One of the best tricks is to use TK dizzy/kd, then switch to pistols. Use a lowblow if they're not kd'd, then use health bleeds and last ditch. After about 10 seconds or so, use panic shot (10 second delay), then hit peace and switch back to TK. You will have your vk in hand and still have 5 seconds to spare before they can get back up. Use Unarmed Hit 3 to apply blind (and sometimes bleeds), then kd/dizzy and switch back to pistols.

What to do when things go south:

Feign Death + Force of Will...

If you're on the losing side of a fight, or someone who has high ranged defense (but low melee defense) keeps kiting you, then feign death. Draw them in close, wait for them to let their guard down, then hit force of will and stand up. You're HAM will (usually) go back up and you'll be face to face with them. You can also use this trick to wait and let someone wear offtheir food/drink (especially effective against riflemen who use mind foods).

Keep spices in your inventory...

Always keep at least 2 neutron pixies and 2-4 muon golds in your inventory (out of crates). You can feign and use them to auto-heal when you stand up. Very effective when you're being "griefed" while feigning death and your HAM is low.

What to Avoid:

Riflemen: Riflemen aren't that big of a problem... unless they start kiting you. You have low ranged defense, so unless they are going to stay in melee range, feign death or get the heck out of there.

Riflemen: Oh wait, I already said this.

Defense Stackers: If your opponent isn't touched by either pistols or TK, then run screaming, shooting your blaster behind you like Han Solo. Smuggler's are never afraid to wait to live another day.

Riflemen + Defense Stacker: Self-explanatory.
