Simple question is this ever going to be fixed or do we have to live with the fact that we always have to pull them out before using them ? I thought the devs said it was unintentional if so why is it taking so freaking long to fix it ?

Did anyone see the patch notes for today's minipublish that got pulled? Dare we hope?

Nah. Can you link/show us please?
On a side note, I just posted my weekly reply in the current Mini-Publish Live Thread about the Broken Crates.

Since you seem to avoid replying to myself or any other smuggler who has asked about this, I'll give you the rundown in case ThunderHeart failed to let you know about the "history" of this issue.
For the past month since Publish 10 has came out the Smuggler Tool Crates autopulling when you slice has been broken. It was broken on Test Center two weeks before Pub 10 went live, then subsequently went live anyways without being fixed - and then we were promised by Mr. ThunderHeart that "It will be fixed in the next mini-publish". Two to Three Mini Publishes and a Month Later - and it's still broken.
To us Smugglers for the past year, we feel neglected, cheated and pretty much abused with every single thing you guys break on us. Panic Shot was "fixed" - broken rather. Never re-addressed. Feign Death has been broken since Release. Never addressed. We don't even have little blurbs in 80% of our skillboxes describing perks and skills. Never addressed. Now Smuggler Tool Crates.
It's disheartening, but I think the only reason the majority of us stick around is due to the bait and switch tactics the dev team uses with us. Promises (Broken) of fixes, then we wait a month, and see nothing.
I hope that as the new community rep, you can break the habit of all the other ones before you of making promises you know you can't keep.
