I generally don't post notes like this because I'm not sure that they do any good. There are also so many posts with a similar subject that I doubt that they're ever read. Given my current level of frustration and the aggravation in the forum, I thought I'd give it a try.

A very simple solution would simply be to communicate. Let's start with slicing. Is it still being designed? Coded? Is slicing being balanced? Is it in regression testing? Soon ™ simply doesn't cut it. It is much too easy to see the lack of communication as a lack of progress.

If you could just tell us where slicing is in the development path then we wouldn't get so angry when a new patch appears in the TC with no mention of smugglers anywhere. I would go so far as to suggest that this would help with all the other issues in other professions.

I realize that this is suggesting a major change to the way that SOE relates to their clients, but I don't see a negative aspect to this.

I agree too. I'd even be compelled to add the WE DIGGS THE TIGGS back to my sig.

Communication is gold, and no-one is looking for an answer like "June 14" or anything like that, but we would like to know if it is a priority, or as was mentionned, even being worked on.

I definately agree with this post 100%.

Without a doubt the lack of communication is one of the biggest issues with our revamp because after 2 years "soon" doesnt fill us with happy happy joy joy feelings because its quite simple weve heard it before constantly having the smuggler revamp pushed back is frustrating as hell but what adds to it is we dont have a reason why it takes so long.

Fine the revamp may take a while butyou have implemented jedi and revamped them before we have yet to see any significant progress on us, all i can say this thing when it gets hereit better be a shining example of brillance to rival non-others.

Really we need to see a friday feature on the smuggler revamp in the next couple of weeks because were going insane here all of us are smugglers in name onlyright nowso again to make up for all this time these missions for smugglinghave to be awesome and slicing needs to befun and challenging.

My best guessas to why we don't know anything do to aNDA. Which to me, for bug fixes and balancing issues is just plan stupid. For major expansions, I can understand, but this viel of silence is unnecessary for issues that have been going on for 2 plus years.

SOE tear down this wall.

This game has so much potential, and all we want to do is help. But that takes communication, something that has been very lacking. Having to show up at either E3 or FF to learn anything is pathetic.

The happier the player base is, the more players you'll have, the more money you'll make.

Slicing won't do it for me. End of July comes without actualy SMUGGLING In Testing and I'm out...for good.

I'm beginning to think they aren't going to make end of July at this rate, I'll start lining up my next game end of this month. I won't be back either, I never go back after I'm done with something.
