Thread: Smuggler-specific weapons?
Were there weapons given specifically for Smugglers? I looked in the Smuggler skills area, and didn't see any certifications or anything listed.
There's the Renegade pistol which has a Master Smuggler cert to it.
The Liquidsilver pistol has a Novice Smug cert.
There's the Perfectly Precisioned Pistol which I believe is a Master Smug cert as well.
Lastly there's the Black Falcon, which doesn't have a Smuggler certification attached to it, but it is a reward item from a Smuggler-only quest.
Black Falcon isn't bad for the level it's intended for. It makes a nice weapon for a post-CU, non-respec smuggler to work his/her way through the middle levels of Smuggler.
The Perfectly Precisioned pistol is, I believe, a Necrosis drop. But I could be wrong. Liquidsilver I've only seen for sale on the bazaar so I'm not sure if it's loot or crafted.
Oh and there's also the pistol that looks like a Marvin the Martian raygun...Don't remember what it's called offhand but I think it's a Smug only pistol as well.

Yes, the Quicktriggeris listed as a smuggler only pistol. It's only good for hunting roadrunners, reheating coffee, and making popcorn. The thing has bleh stats and a max range of 20m.

the precsion pistol has a range of 25m....and had crap stats.
hell all of the looted smug pistols have crap stats

There is a looted pistol with a novice BH cert that uses the same skin as the Renegade, so you can see bounty hunters that look like they are carrying Renegades.
The precision weapon that looks like a Launcher is a Necrosis drop. That's where I got mine.
He also drops a Master Smuggler certed Rifle.
It's simply the shnitz. Pick one up if you can.

Whoa Swen, I am afraid to whip mine out. I am afraid the women might laugh at how big its head is and my enemies will ask if we are having fun yet

so that's what this bloke had in my group earlier. didn't want to send a tell knowing he was probably getting swamped with them anyway, lol
