Hello everyone, I am a veteran player. Second week the game opened (I figured the first week would have some bugs hehe). I had a zebrak and I tried out brawling and I had no real clue how to craft, then I got an Alt, named Starphire with the sole purpose of being a doc. I LOVED and LOVED doc. It was great. So then I made my original chat a twilek and went for crafting proffesions as I learned to craft with doc and liked it. Tesra was a dancer/ID/tailor and eventually a DE. I hated DE.

So I come back after about a year of a break. Right before space expansion they let down the mother load of a patch and my computer got worse and worse with every one. Nowa year later I have a really nice machine and I went ahead and got rage of the wookies and the space expansion.

I find a lot has changes, in particular doc. The 2 things I loved doing in doc was, crafting uber buff packs, buffing for money, and rez'ing on big trips.I loved being the only rez'er and highly valued and needed, yet I didn't have to do combat. WIth Star I never went full template, I dabbled in other things because I was happy and never found a combat I liked besides two handed swordmen, which I was working on when I left. So I'm saying all this because star can't get respec's for a full template (argh bastages!!). So doc is nothing like it was, and hsa lost mostly all it's fun that I personally had from it.

So I tried to think, what would give me the same good feelings doc gave me? I decided on smuggler. Social interaction through slicing, and people sometimes need them in PVP for slicing bases. This would make me useful to other people, and I would get to craft slice kits which gave me something small to craft but not over kill, and I could optionally make spices (do people even eat that anymore? I havn't seen anyone bark in the week I have been back). So now I have to grind smuggler, and I am very disapointed I can't craft the XP.

So my template is: (drum roll please)

Master Combat Medic / Master Smuggler / Doc Dabbling for the better heals with any leftover points

I think feign death will come in very handy with the ever agro'd combat medic!

Yeah docs have the pooey end of the stick from the CU (need better enhancements than what they currently have).

Personally I'd go for M/Pistoleer M/Smuggler and dable is something. That's what I am

To answer your question about spice: Yes. I eat spice religiously, when I have it. I ran out a few days before they fixed the unlimited spice bug- So I'm not sure if it is working like it did prior to the bug or not.

It can be taken with food to increase buff, but one one spice / one food for a particular stat.

But anywho- Slicing is MAJORLY fubar atm and that is why you do not see us shouting for slices

I don't want to get a 0% slice and tarnish my name. I'm waiting for the publishes for our profession to come out.

Look out Starphire ... a lot of us male smugglers have been out shipping spice to the far reaches of the outer rim and haven't seen a female in a LONG time.. I'd keep ya blaster hot

Haha Hoshi. Yes, it seems 8/27/03 was a fateful day indeed. Maybe we have a shared destiny!? Only time will tell.
