Thread: Firefly has changed my life....

I used to count the days until the end of my work week. (3 days to go not counting today) Now I count the days until the next episode of Firefly. ( 5 days to go )

I watched the first episode, but I didn't really get into it. Maybe next week I'll start taping an hour earlier to give it another shot.

That show isa great example of what a Smuggler couldbe. Too bad we can't be Smugglers in SWG......

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!!! Where can I see this show? Or where can I download it? Som eof me guildies have been talking about it, but I just can't find it...

I bought that box for $70 US when it first came out... saw it for $30 yesterday.

Ive pushed Firefly on so many people. It's a hard sell, since so many have never heard of it, but everyone ends up thanking me!

People always comment on being like "w-t-f" when they hear the theme song the first time. Then they admit how you totally get into the theme song when you love the show. Pretty funny.

Can't wait for Sept 30th when Serenity comes out. The trailers look pretty cool.

Bah...since my schedule has changed for the next 2.5 months...I no longer have access to SciFi Fridays....but the wife in her infinite wisdom has suggested DVR


Is the series re-runs of the boxed set or all new episodes? Will just buy it ...but DVR seems like a good thing for SG-Atlantis anyway...and ya know ..she cant miss Judge Judy...her work schedule conflits

Get the Tivo/DVR system. You will love it.


Firefly is a show which Fox produced in the late 90s? They never managed to hype is properly (first show was after a World Series game), and it was pulled after 9 episodes. 14 eposides were created, and they are all in the Boxed DvD set.


Sci-Fi has picked up the series in anticipation for the movie, Serentiy,being released on Sept 30th.


I'm telling all my friends, watching the show myself, purchased the DvD, and hoping that there will be enough excitement from themovie that Sci-Fi will be able to continue the series.


Ive even named my nova Serenity in game.

Aired fall 2002...was partnered up on Friday with John Doe I think. Really bad time slot. What 18-34 action fan would watch TV friday nights at 8 and 9? Its party night. Oh well. I rarely actually watch BSG, I usually have it DVRed. Even when Firefly was on the air I had to download episodes. But I watched every one.
