Thread: Me want gambling!
Smugler placable WORKING Jubalee wheels
Smugler placable WORKING Lugjack machines
Smuggler placable WORKING droid sabacc dealer (DE Craftable?).
Lets get our (mini-) game on!
New content is now a longer term implimentation.
Don't hold your breath.
Best idea I've had sofar has been to have a merchant place 12 slim terminal vendors named "lugjack machine" and fill them with a number of bags containing various value named dice to be traded into the casheer at the end of the night. Buy a bag, get a chance at a big hit, or nothing at all.
But I really dont feel like shutting down my vendors just to create working lugjack machines.

Yeah, dice are good for emulating card games like blackjack, but an actual "hold'em" or any game where cards are hidden is difficult to do without accusations of cheating... though we have one in the guild who has successfully done it without any ill will usint cards irl and simply sending people tells.
Still, I have half a mind to make "lugjack" vendors.
Not to mention, I'd also love to figure out a non-"scamming" (as defined by the EULA)means of running fixed games, loan sharking, pawn shops, and protection rackets... so hard to be a Scoundrel and still remain within the bounds of "fair play", both ethically (as per my own desire to remainan "honest" smuggler) and legally (as per EULA)
Yeesh, the Devs have implimented a gaming table with a "use" button that does nothing. Aren't you guys ever happy?

That's funny, because when you boil it down, you basicly said you wanna legitimately do something illegal.
lol!
I gues it does!
I suppose thats dichotomy of the Smuggler profession... something fun and "smugglery" is neccissary togive the profession the right feel and abilities, however you still need to keep in mind the enjoyment of the game for other players, and as such, a system for "legitimate" ilegal activities is needed... so very odd.
