Thread: Armor break reduction or Add hardening on slice ADK armor ?
I would like to slice an ADK armor (so resilience and impact deflection are useless for me).
In you're opinion, wich is the better choice between armor break reduction and add hardening ?
I like the hardening but 3% is a very very little number... in other way, 75% of armor break reduction effect is very nice but... it's very rare that i have this effect.
Any advice ?

Do you PvP much? If so, go with the Armor Break. Jedi love using that move before they chop you in half with their glowstick.
If not, go with the harderning. Yes, 3% is low (and probably incorrectly low, since the Critical Hit slice that had the same numbers was bumped up to 10% max before the new system went live), but like you said, if you never are effected by Armor Break, that slice is a complete waste.
A few event with "other side" friends but that's all.
Is the 3% rather than the 10% like the critical is a known issue ? (well... is there any issue for us, smugglers ? :/)
If you do any kind of PvP, AB resists are the best option. Jedi are not the only ones with the ability to do AB....melee professions can do it as well. The first time you run into a Melee/Jedi player you'll wish you had AB resists because that is all they spam on you from the first second they get within 5m of you.
Also I've noticed the harder NPC's in the game do AB on a regular basis so it helps in PvE as well.
