Thread: Slicing Bounty Terminals...

To all you BH/Smugglers out there, wouldnt it be nice if we can slice a bounty terminal and actually get an increase in the bounties? I think this is an issue that needs to be fixed. I can slice the terminal, but there is no change in the bounties. Can i get a hell yeah?

*sigh* how about the Bounty Terminal System is too much to hack for a Master Smuggler?
Payout is tied to mission difficulty. So if you raise the payout, what happens?

OK, what i dont understand how is it too much to hack for a master Smuggler? Whenever i slice a imp faction terminal, theres a higher payout, but as far as mission difficulty, I see no change.

The bottom line is that this is worthless for the majority of smugglers. Hacking into a network has nothing to do with smuggling. If you want more money for missions, take harder missions.

BH-Terminals follow different rules. Well actually the devs just never implemented it, dont expect any change to that.

Thinking about it... I'm gonna /bug this in game.
They can either decide that we can't slice bounty terms, or they can apply the slice... As it stands now we get the successful slice message (Your reward has been increased) but there is not increase in the bounty.
Either change the message or increase the rewards. Either way I'm fine. But it _is_ a bug.
Yeah... it's not a huge bug... And yes there are other things to worry about... But it seems like a change in either text or a couple of datatable fields to me.
