I understand that the new faction armour will be made from schematics purchased from your recruiter. Are these schematics purchasable (is that a word?) by armorsmiths only? or also by smugglers ( like droid schematics are now) ? Anyone know if a set of standard ST armor will cost more or less than now? Anyone know what the prices will be like for the schematic? Thanks for any info.

I believe that anyone can buy the schematics. Most AS will probably require it, as theymight not want to spend their FP on armor without compensation.
I also think that any and all armor will cost a LOT more after the CU because of increased resource requirements and longer factory times. The faction armor will probably be even more costly, as it involvesspendingFP. As smuggler I can get FP at a discount, but that's still adding at least 80 credits per FP spent on the schematic. I haven't seen the cost of any schematics yet, but if you use the current prices for marine armor...OUCH. In a word, get the schematics yourself, and save yourself a TON of credits ![]()

The word is (as of now) only armorsmiths can buy the schems. That should be about half the cost of what factional armor is currently. The other half gets paid for by the user of the armor when they get it "bio-linked".

Bio-linking is the new CU thing that won't allow others to wear your armor

But then, all the people who are complaining this dumbed down CURB is "too difficult" would likely get the "Form Fitting" armor confused with the Form-Fitting Shirt...

How could they confuse the action form fitting with an item...?
Oh, right... people are stupid... especially users...
