I am not a smuggler, but have lost my AV-21 to a freak accident....not even sure what happend. It was fine (i never let it get below 1/2 damage) but then suddenly I called it out and **poof** it is disabled. Arghhhhh. So I heard through the grapevine that smugglers may be able to fix disabled items. Is this true? Orhas my AV-21 finally crapped out (SWG bastards owe me
)
Anyway, I would love to get it fixed if at all possible. Help on what to do would be greatly appreciated!

We can't do anything for you. The disabled thing was probably a rumor left over from the original plan to change slicing.
However, I have heard that other people have experienced the magical self-destructing AV-21 before. I've evn heard tales of people actually posting a CSR ticket regarding the matter and getting a replacement vehicle. Seems they don't make those things like they used to.
Your mileage may vary with your CSR rep though. Cross your appendages and fire a ticket off.

The rumor about Smugglers fixing disabled items comes from our slicing revamp. Back when it was first on Test Center, weapons and armor would become "broken" after they had been used for a while after a slice. When this happened, you would have to take it back to a Smuggler and get it fixed*. This was taken out during the early part of testing because, I'm assuming, many people complained about it.
So, to answer your question, no a Smuggler can't fix your AV-21. It sucks, I know, but you're going to have to get another one.
*This type of fixed isn't what you do to your bothans. That is a different type of fixed, which I believe should be implemented immediately.
Edit: Blast, LTZweigg beat me to it.
