This has probably been addressed before, but what about smugglers being able to join BH's in the Jedi hunts and help them slice doors if Jedi's run into buildings w/o public access. This could only be done if the Jedi was a target/bounty. Just a thought.

It is an interesting idea but I think it may end up being a bad thing. I don't see private homes as a way to avoid PvP but more of a way to keep your stuff private. It is just abused at times. If I were a Jedi that had placed a private home, I would be disappointed to load in at the start of my gaming session just to find a BH already in my living room.
If smuggler's get on the terms, we would see the same thing.

Jedi: "Hi Honey im Home!"
Bounty Hunter: "Sorry Dinners not on the table for you tonight"
Smuggler: "HA! Foolish Jedi the devs remembered us after all and threw us a bone! No Twi'lek bathroom is safe!"
Jedi: "Your plans will avail you not! Dev content you may have but everyone knows...jedi ask, jedi get! I will therfore forcerun 1000 out the front door and down to the local for a quick pint, meet my jedi gank sqaud mates, come back and kill you both, then camp the clone centre for a year!Behold the power of the force!"
Bounty Hunter/Smuggler: "BAH! Nerfed again!"
THE END

Sorry I don't remember where I read this, it might even be on the c-forums for all I remember, but I do know they said getting access to homes like this was not going to happen.
