Being an avid OSU <- you figure out which one - I have a few friends that went on a scouting trip to San Antonio to checkout hotels for the bowl game.
Anyway one of them called me (he knows I am into the GAME) and said that the group was having a few brewskis in the hotel bar.
Why they were in that bar - I don't want to know.
But to continue
He claims that the group ran into aperson that claimed to be in San Antonio for a meeting about working on new content for SWG. My friend told him thathe knew someone that was aMaster Smuggler *Please notethe Capital S*.
The guy stated that he hadn't been working for SOE for vey long and had only attented one meeting so far and didn't know very much but...
From what he heard in the meeting and learned from discussions with some of the other new developers that one of the items being planned was to add anothercreature to the GAME.
My friend also knew that I had dabbled in CH at one time so he questioned the guy and found out that the creature was giong to replace the training driod for a specific profession, at the master level, to go along witha story line in the movies.
Since by then the brews had started to kick in so the information - what little of it there was - started to flow.
Unfortunately all my friend could find out was that the new creatrue was undeletablenot trainable, and not going to be for CHs.
All that the creature would be doingwould be to follow the master. The "owner" would not be able to destroy it or store it. Itwould always be out following the master and it would not be counted as an item against the data pad or inventory limits.
This is getting good isn't it.
Anyway my friend was able to get the reason for the new creature, the name of the creatue, and the profreceiving the creature.
I might just have to step outside my starship'sfront door to take a smoke break to think this one over...
It turns out that since Han Solo was, at one time engaged in this activity the dev team decided to adda creature called a nerf and make it a part of the Master Smuggler perks.
Remember what I said at the top
Don't believe this.
My friendhas been known to make up stuff before.
