Thread: Fun with FD

Tonight on Chilastra there was an Event in Anchorhead. As usual the imps are attacking and as usual no thought was put into this event. Half the server knows its goin on so there are imps and rebs there in mad numbers. Of course every jedi on the server it seemed put away their combat stacker alt to get out there combat stacker jedi.
So as the imperial jedi are cleaning house I decided to have a little bit of fun. I go overt and walk outside. I of course unequipped everything but a worn out geo. I tap one jedi with a fan ld and hit my fd and que it up. I manage to get in a few more shots before all the imps realize I am shooting and promptly smack me down. But I don't die. I just lay there taking a beating. Now I don't have ADHD so I can manage to lay there and laugh and watch and talk to my guild and send tells to friends. Meanwhile I manage to get a tef on nearly every imp in the area as they strole by me and nature being as it is, they attack me. When the events were nearly all over and several had died some Rebel jedi show up. Now me being a smart smuggler I stand up after getting fully healed and walk into the frey. I manage to tag about 4 imps who I had tef's on. The glory is I got the first shot of course and the overts had a fun time removing them. I managed to bring out another FD while they all die.
The only bad thing that happened was a jedi brought me outta fd. I then got hit with a good mind poison and they peaced off regardless of my attempts. So I lost my fd on the 3rd try. But 2 outta 3 aint bad. The guy who poisoned me died after I cloned.
So while we really don't do much in pvp playing tef bait does work effectively.

Soudns like an awesome use of FD, and like you had fun.
My question, of course, is how many of those Jedi that were attacking you complained about you using FD to "exploit" them?
And no, i'm not saying ALL Jedi would complain about that. But based on how many Jedi complain about BHs using FD, while at the same time using it themselves, I'm just wondering how happy they'd be with (god forbid) an actual Smuggler using it.
My question, of course, is how many of those Jedi that were attacking you complained about you using FD to "exploit" them?

That sounds almost as fun as corpse soccer!
