When you need to slice a bunch of stuff, there's a tip to avoid the items to hide themselves into your inventory....


prepare yourself : Put your crates of items (clamps, WUK, AUK, knives)into shortcut bar

Open you inventory
KEEP IT OPENED !
Trade the item you need to slice

All items appears at the end of your inventory (as they should stay)
DON'T CLOSE YOUR INVENTORY
Slice your items
Did i say not to close your inventory?

Trade items back



To be short : items in inventory are only rearranged when you reopen you inventory. If you keep it open, it won't mess.


Inventory change announced as : Your inventory will remember what sorting you had when reoppening it
What we should have heard : Your inventory will automaticaly rearrange your inventory by alphabetical order or previously selected order when opening it
