Thread: My Best Slice

I was sitting in the Tyrena Starport outfitting my new Krayt gunship, when I get the Tell. You know what I'm talking about, it comes in many forms from the stupid to the profane, the patient to the annoying, "Can you slice my armor?"
Looking around to make sure there were any authorities around, and there weren't, one of the reasons I like Tyrena...I tell her I can help her. Up walks a perky enthusiastic woman, who proudly tells me this is her first set of composite. We trade and I set up the slicing toolbar, it's a nice set, Electric and Kinetic were 80, I think...the base was 65%. I ask her if she wants me to call the slices as I go, she says no. So I set into the armor slicing grind we all know far too well, and it isn't until I get a 40% enc slice, which is about half way done, that I notice not only have all the slices been encumbranec, they've all been 35% or more...I get a little excited, but since I'm a master cynic and I have my SWG/DEV reality macro running, I can't get too excited...by the last click I have a rush and when the last slice came up 42% encumbrance, I was simply electric...every slice was a 35% or better slice, most were 39, but got a couple 40s...and they were all encumbrance.
And that my friends, brother and sister smugglers, is one of the reasons I love smuggler.
It's a priceless experience that even the 100K tip she gave me can't come close to eclipse.
