Stratics is pleased to announce a House of Commons with the developers of
Star Wars Galaxies on Monday, December 20th. It will be at 5pm PDT / 8pm EDT in
the #StraticsHoC channel on Stratics IRC. This month's HoC will focus on Jump to
LightSpeed and plans for SWG 2005.






Just an informative post. I'll try and make it but I still have holiday
shopping to do...

I would think the question to ask would be:


What do you plan on doing with the 20 new dev's you have added. Will we see non-combat (i.e smuggler)re-vamps or a GSW re-vamp anytime soon?


I wish I could make it but my DSL at home is down atm.

For those that do make it, I'd like to put out my request from the original "what do you want to see first since we're hiring all these people that didn't qualify for the job before" thread:


Will we be able to have developers continue on projects they've already worked on, such as can the Smugglers please get GreenMarine back to work on their revamp.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

Hopefully they'll put some of them on looking intofixing the bugged space smugglermissions.

Why does it not surprise me this was cancelled? They knew more then a few questions about Smugglers in the future would be asked... and the last thing the Devs want to talk about is Smugglers.

You're sort of on to something there when you take a look at Tyrant's thread from last week. A lot of non Smugglers were calling for our revamp too. Then again, there were architects saying they needed a revamp.
