Thread: Is this a Smuggler Perk? (Serious Question...any input?)

Ok, today I went to Tatooine space and was able to land at Jabba's Palace.
I have completed the themepark. I started in the Smuggler Alliance (and left before my first skill). I then Aced Rebel and am now doing Imperial.
I don't think I did any missions for Tat station ... but I am able to land. Why? Is it that I am a Smuggler? Is it that I completed the Themepark? Is this a bug?
Can you guys help explore this for me and let me know?

If you have done the Theme Park or your Tier 2 or above Smugglers Allience Pilot I belive you can land at Jabbas.
Its not really all that usefull though except for doing your lower Tier part of SA pilot.

This must be new since when I did SA tier 3 you couldn't.
I know it was suggested, by me and a few others, all through beta.
If you can really do this now then it would drastically lessen the frustration of the Tier 3 SA missions. Of course after you're done with SA tier 3 it is pretty much useless. I mean how many people go back to Jabba's after they are done with the theme park and SA tier 3?

Aye, I noticed that yesterday as well, haven't landed yet and I completed the Themepark, but haven't done anything for the rebellion, currently working on SA.

If I remember correctly, you were supposed to do the mission from the Tat station (as a Neutral Pilot in the SA) to be able to land there. I never heard of 'if you did the Themepark'.
Also, for landing at the Emperor's Retreat ... I didn't get that option until I did his missions, and same goes for landing at the Abanoned Rebel Base.

I'm an Imperial Pilot Ace and Master Smuggler, I've done Jabba's themepark of course (what self respecting smuggler hasn't?) I also have the option to land at Jabba's without doing any special mission or anything. Been wondering why myself.

If you complete the Themepark, or get to a certain point there in you get the option of landing there. Faction doesn't matter.

We can land at the palace, nice..........NOW IF WE COULD GET SOME FREAKIN SMUGGLER MISSIONS OR QUESTS FROMTHAT SLUG WE MIGHT HAVE SOME REASON TO LAND THERE!!!!!

I would also like to see Nym's as a Smuggler only place (hint hint)

I can think of lots of reasons to go there but I would like SOE to give me one main reason (Nym's as well) hint, hint. 
On a side note Rebels and Imperials would not go to Jabba's palace unless they had to deal with that scum. Besides his royal fatness would not stand for anyone using his pad as a jump point...well not with out getting payed really, really well.

I was not talking about smugglers with faction. I was talking about pure rebels or Imperials and I nerver said people should not be able toland there. I said rebels or Imps would not go there with out a really, really good reason because neither of those factions want to deal with crime lords. Over all I was saying its great that we can land there but hows about some smuggler missions so we have a true reason to land at the palace and nyms. If you have done the theme park we have no real reason to land at jabbas other then to say "hey I landed at jabbas /woohoo".
