There is a Link in my Sig to my Website and it has a Movie Page with my Movies on it.
I am all for Fixing all the Professions, Just Happen to be a Little Biased as to Who gets Fixed First (:
That's a statement from a certain perspective. Certainly, the base mechanics of the entertainers from a combat perspective work fine. From the perspective of an entertainer, things look much different. Social play is all but impossible in the normal cantinas, we're not financially viable, and we have pretty much next to nothing in terms of content. It's all in your perspective.
The difference between you and I, though, is my ability to see beyond my perspective, understand yours, and support you. I don't call you a bunch of whiners simply because you're calling for change.
Look, you're welcome to offer whatever criticism about my videos you like. I get lots of negative opinions on each video I produce. I can take constructive criticism. But every entertainer at that event knew ahead of time what kind of video I was making, they wanted to stay and make that statement, and calling the statement the, and I quote, "Biggest Load of Whinning I've Ever Seen" is essentially saying that those entertainers should shut up, sit down and entertain in misery because your issues are more important than theirs simply because you don't understand them.
I find that attitude despicable and I think you owe them an apology.

I think I very much do. I understand exactly what you're saying. You're welcome to your opinion. It's not at all an unusual opinion in this player base. I even think the devs agree with it, else they would have done something about the situation before now. It is that very opinion we are fighting against, and it is that very opinion that brought us to the juncture where I felt I had to use this medium to get the word out.

But Yet You Showed Clearly in your Video a LARGE ammount of Fully Fuctioning Dances, and Dancers, That Clearly Had enough money to Buy Matching Clothes and Instruments.
If Your Going to Make a Statement about Something that doesn't work. Why not Show how it doesn't work. What I saw on the Top of your Video didn't match the Bottom Part. I Saw a Lot of Entertainers that Looked yo be Having fun Entertaining and Dancing. If you Just Read the Bottom part one would Imagine Empty Cantinas with dancers out front wrapped in a Blanket with a sign that reads will dance for food, or Pubs filled with Twitching Toons.
You Turned your Entertaining Cantina Crawl Series into a Political Bash the Devs Soapbox. THAT is what I don't Agree with. I Liked your Videos for Their Entertainment Value. You Have Become another Tim Robbins and Janeane Garofalo.
Something that you aren't understanding about that video is that those entertainers came from several servers. It shows how small the population really is.

I'm not going to get into stating the bugs and broken parts of the Entertainment professions, each list is as long as that of the Smugglers. Take a moment to think about what you're saying in the second part of that sentence though. We clearly had generous benefactors, most notably Doasa and Javier, who lose a good deal of money every time they put on a Cantina Crawl. As a Master Musician, I craft instruments for those who do not have them. Can I afford it on what I earn as an Entertainer? Certainly not. I have to run combat missions in order to make enough money to live. It is through the sheer generosity of other players that I'm capable of running the Entertainer Memorial Cantina without spending all of my game time running combat missions to earn money for it. Our clothing, instruments, cantinas, theaters, etc, are not easy for us to come by with the state of our professions. Clearly we care enough to do it, but it's not a simple matter.

The end lines made it apparent that there is a small community that has stuck through this, but even more people are leaving because the professions they love are not viable, and even worse, are unappreciated, because the AFK'ers have devalued the professions. The video is partiallya warning that one day, the last of the Live Entertainers will hit "cancel" and there will only be AFK'ers and bots remaining.

No part of the Cantina Crawl XII video bashed the Devs. It pointed out serious lapses of judgement on their part, yes. Yes, it showed how little effort SOE wants put into the Entertainment professions.
Videos are made for Entertainment, of course, but a video or filmwith no message whatsoever is rather pointless. I enjoyed the first Cantina Crawl video (CC6) because it was something new. I enjoyed #7, 8, & 9becausethey had undertones of the Live Entertainers' message (ok, 9 wasa direct statement). As they continued though, I derived less enjoyment, because the entire process became businesslike and in a way, forced. They seemed to be mostly just to be "there." Cantina Crawl XII rolled around and I think something needed to change. If it didn't, the CC XII videowould not have had any meaning to me, it would have been exactly what CC6 was: a recording of an event. Experiencing a Cantina Crawl live is great, but the videos need something more, otherwise they'll become boring and useless to watch.
Entertainers recognize that there are other professions as broken as ours, but that's no reason for we, the members of those professions, to fight amongst ourselves. All the squabbling is probably just going to make the Devs think we're A-ok with our professions as they are since our energies go into fighting instead of making arguments for the improvements to our professions.
