Thread: Worse Slice ever?

O.k. well kinda bored here so here goes my worse slice experience ever.... i hope im not alone on this
I will make it brief...
Supposed to slice a set of Stun Composite.... I have to fly to location.... 2 shuttles and 10 minutes later my customer is still waiting. When I get there I realize I dont have any tools. I run home ... 2 shuttles and 10 minutes later .... get the tools.. no AUKs ... crap... 1 shuttle 5 minutes later all componets in inventory i begin slicing.... ALL FREAKING ENCUMBERANCE and my highest prolly 19%... Customer does not give up. Wants a second suit sliced says encumberance not so bad but surely wants eff % ... ok second suit .... ONE...yes only ONE left bracer 43% eff slice ALL THE REST ENCUMBERANCE slices highest again 19% ........
It is official.... I will no longer slice armor....weapons only for me

How'd you get a 43% eff slice?
As for the rest, a really bad streak of bad luck...

I think we have all had some bad runs, for instance, one of my first big slices was a NS lance, which i got an amazing 13% speed slice on. I believeI was a slicer at the time and felt guilty for charging the 5k, but hey... i can't control it. I havent gotten any truly horrible slices lately, but have gotten high damage slices on weapons i was hoping for a good speed slice (grinding weaps), I also remember getting a speed slice on a nice pre-nerf Scatter that had 1.0 speed to start. I've noticed that MOST customers... at least on Scylla, treat the smuggler with respect, and only a few times have I had to deal with people that dont get the picture when i say i cant slice. I have put down the tools every now and again after a truly horrid slice, but they always call me back. I can only hope that you have the best of luck with slicing, and that you do get over your fear of armor

back to back 11%eff slices...........now that sucked, i hated telling the guy

11% Speed slice on a already fast expensive weapon.
We should get a in-game jacket with a in-game patch that says <11%> if you hit the bottom at Master.

slicing a suit of armour, i was charging about 300 credits per percentage (mainly because i hate slicing armour) and i was doing the last piece. and i mucked it up :S i cut the wrong powercable (god knows how; its TWO choices, and i picked the wrong one, even tho my clamp told me to pick the right one) but before that i had made a tidy 30 k profit roughly, and i am broke, as not a master smuggler yet. but i had to just let the guy have the suit for free. my own fualt, but the worst part was when he asked why i was giving it to him for free, and i had to tell him i mucked up. i then had to borrow money from my guild to pay him. and they didn't talk to me for a fair few weeks :S

glad to help i actually managed to do the same again about a hour ago. only it was wookie armour this time. needless to say i am again in debt. and never will i touch armour again. i don't think i've ever sliced under 25% on a weapon. armour i just screw up all the time.
