Thread: WesBelden, any news of some coming love soon?
- Spices : reflections about upper and downer effects
- Dirty Fight : balancing the skill mods to avoid too much dabbling with other professions.
- Slicing : considering a new form of experimenting impact not including resource quality.
- Underworld : nothing new this week

I've no news to give I'm afraid and as for saying what goes on in the C-forum, I can't do that without express permission. They do however know our problems.
Ok so about the love we may or may not get someday, we have a status quo, which can mean everything and their opposite...
As for their permission, maybe you could ask them what eriodical info you could pass onto us? As i understand what they intended to do with the correspondant position, you are meant o a channel of communication between us (the player base) and them (the devs and reps). If they (the devs and reps) don't want to spend time with us (the player base), maybe they could use you as an informant agent in the same way we use you as an informant agent?
Moreover, the fact that they know our problems does not mean they intend to fix them, or that they care about them. As we (at least as I) feel it, they could just read, eventually acknowledge, and forget as soon as they read. For instance, on the latest issue that is crate autopulling, we don't know whether a dev has been assigned, wheter TH's promise of its being fixed still stands or if it may be addressed in the hypothetical revamp.

Yes it has - by every inaction and nerf and deminishment we suffer. It is quite clear by their actions how important we are in the grand scheme.
Not shooting the messenger, Wes - like I said before in a previous post, I do understand and appreciate your position in this.
But even you have to admit that they don't even talk to us, and what is said to us (there is a difference between having a meaningful conversation and giving someone information) is bald faced lies. This clearly indicates that there is an issue on their end, and that when push comes to shove, the smugglers are at the bottom of the list and never move up.
Its all there in EN's history. Which someone should copy to their computer in case it mysteriously gets gone...
Sorry, by "us", I meant the Correspondents within the Corre forum.
Itotally agree, what's gone before is completely unnacceptable. GreenMarine has said as much in person. They've made mistakes, ones that have affected this community profoundly, myself included, but I think, I hope, they care a great deal about this game and that includes this profession. I'd like to see more Dev communication and participation with our community, I'd like to see pages upon pages of revamp documents and have every bug fixed now, but I know and at least think I understand why that's not going to happen. If I thought they weren't fixing us and weren't revamping us now because they flipantly didn't care about Smugglers I wouldn't be paying to play this game, let alone in this profession or position.
