I just started a big slicing job last night.

As I was getting the results of the first slice a system messagethat I was now qualified for Novice Politicain popped up

This must be the Slicing Gods playing with me. I don't want to be a politicain I just want to buy them.

Mu first batch of slices were barely adequate. I then got sdown onmy knees and prayed to the Slicing Gods to grant me better slices. I got what I prayed for; better slices -siightly better but stillnot great.

Maybe nest time I pray I'll throw in a bucket of Kadaraan Kaduu wings.

Smuggling is a lot like Rangering- Can't kill much and get a$$ kickin's all the time.

You get a system message for each skill you got enough XP for. This may happen after a crash and your UI got reseted, any gained XP triggers this check.

So I get the message for 8 FS-Skills + Politician.

I have noticed that it tells me that I am qualified for yada yada every once and a while. Its a small thing though.

I prayed to the slicing gods but they only sometimes answer my needs.

I get the occasional you qualify for... message, but most of them actually apply to me.

What was wierd was about 2 weeks ago I got a message saying some crazy crap that there was no way I could have done. I logged in like 2 minutes before I got the message, and it was totally unrelated to anything I do... wasn't profession related either.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114
