I thought it might be cool.
Also i'm doing freelance pilot.

lol, /agree. Although from a RP prespective the template is cool. However, the content fear of BH wold make it a nightmare IMO.

The thing about the jedi skills and the visibility is that if you get to a point where you really don't ever want to go forward as a jedi, then you can "rejoin" the game and just take the xp loss. You'll have BHs hunting you all the time, but if you like the idea and don't care about losing all the negative jedi xp this could be a very fun template. If you took the FS ranged accuracy and speed branches you could live without some of the pistoleer, and pulling a saber would be a pretty cool option.
The fact that BHs could come after me at any time has added back a "danger" to the game similiar to what it was like at launch when you didn't know what was going to happen. I don't care for the xp loss so much, as the grind is long enough, put it's part of the deal and adds a good reason to be sneaky...

I was thinking of something similar also. Though I think Jedi are cool I've enjoyed playing my triple master immensly and don't know if I want to grind out a Jedi. I didn't grind out holos because its boring and not in the spirit of the game so grinding out FS xp is just about the same in my opinion. Plus from a roleplay aspect it would be fun to have BH's after you as a smuggler.

forgive me for not knowing, but isn't it set up right now so you cannot trade LS, therefore not slice them. and maybe with smuggler in your temp.. slice theM? just a thougt

No, in the inventory, Lightsabers are viewed as glorified crystal containers.

The lightsaber actually isn't a weapon so much as a container. it can't be sliced, even if you have the skill, and it can't be equipped unless it has (at minimum) a color crystal tuned by you in it.
