Thread: Anyone been to the mall lately?

I went this afternoon to try and find a Christmas gift for my wife. I walked by Hot Topic, looked in the store window, and stopped dead in my tracks. I bought one of those things that little kids wear (onesies?) and I don't even have any kids yet... but when I do, he's gonna be wearing one with Yoda on it and Size matters not under Yoda's head. I also got a Stormtrooper helmet with crossed bones underneath it T-shirt. I think it's a must for you Imperial Smugglers out there.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

hehe yeah my gf went in to look for a new belly ring and saw those. Some of them were kinda cool, despite that shop not really being my kind of thing. Too bad I don't have kids yet as they would be sporting one of those as well

I got the same Stormtrooper thing, cept in jacket form. Stormy on the back, Star Wars on front. Its all 70's style jacket, awsome.

Hey fishbrains, I think you need to change that to a capital "S" in your signature so the pilots don't get confused.

I have worked for Hot Topic for over 2 years now and knowing we have this stuff just makes me so much happier... lol. I've bought every piece of Star Wars merch we have gotten.


Hot Topic truely is an amazing company to work for... if you have the right environment, it is just like a close knit family in a store which operates properly. Alot like the community here...


What you experience in Hot Topic rightfully we call the "Hot Topic Experience." If you don't smile and have a good time in our store, then the employees are not doing their job.
