Thread: Can anyone tell me about Jawas & Underworld?

Ok my smuggler has been saving pistol xp for dirty fighting 1 but I noticed on one of the login screens something about Smugglers with Underworld being able to do 'something' at the Jawa mountain fortress on Tatooine
Anyone know what this gives you and what level of Underworld you need to have?

Yeah, you can sell junk people loot to the Jawas for a bonus. Let's just say the bonus won't cover your shuttlefare to Tat. It was something added to the game and celebrated until people tried it.

So its just like the junk dealers in towns then?
Damn I washoping to be able to get the stuff for the broken viewscreen etc from them

So thats why everyone says underworld is broken, and why it cost a lot less xp.

The Jawa fortress (more like a settlement if you ask me, and a shoddy one at that. Looks nice though) on my server is about a half-hours drive away, so unless you've got a guild coming along, muling your stuff for you, what the tight-fisted little gits give you for the junk won't even pay for the cost of repairs to your speeder.
My jaded advice: go and look at it, even speak to the Jawas, just to say you can because you're a smuggler and nobody else can. Then turn around and go home again. Best done on a rainy afternoon when there's literally nothing else you can think of doing.

Is the Jawa place a POI? I've never seen it. If they don't offer me a good amount for my junk, I can always just shoot the little buggers and steal their loot

it'd be hella better if we could buy the stuff from them... i mean come on, people selling complete tusken suits for 500k on my server. Why oh why can't we buy a full suit for say, 60k, so we can turn around and flood the market selling this stuff for like 75k

it's even better if u have a -5000 jawa FP, andjawa's attack u on sight, but they'll still trade with u, and pay a bit better than regular junkdealers...

i went to check it out because i could speak to the jawas, it was kinda fun for about 3 minutes.
they will buy junk at 2x what the dealers in town will buy for, they also have specific dealers, weapons, tusken stuff, jewelry and clothes, and something else i think.
these jawas are not attackable, not that i could find, anyway.
